He said Pakistan joins this global effort and supports the simple message behind it that each of us has a role in reducing our impact on the environment and using resources responsibly.Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his message, said in this era full of environmental challenges, Earth Hour serves as a reminder that protecting the Earth is our shared and fundamental responsibility.

Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan faces an alarming environmental situation.Although Pakistan's contribution to the emission of harmful gases causing global warming is less than one percent globally, the country is among the most affected by this climate crisis.
