Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday strongly condemned the firing incident on a police vehicle in the Gurguri area of Karak district, in which five police personnel were martyred. Expressing profound grief and sorrow over the loss of lives, the minister paid rich tribute to the martyred officials, saying they sacrificed their lives in the line of duty and set a “remarkable example of bravery.” 

Naqvi conveyed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the fallen policemen. He said that targeting security personnel was “an act of sheer barbarism by ruthless elements.” He reaffirmed that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain, adding that the state would respond with full force against those responsible for the attack.
