Police on Monday arrested an accused and a woman who brutally murdered a man and his two sons in Lahore over a money dispute. According to details, the arrested suspect, Rohail, a resident of Multan Chungi, was a close friend of the deceased, Kamran. Police said the killings occurred over a financial dispute, as the suspect had allegedly borrowed Rs3 million from his friend and failed to return the amount. 

The arrested woman, Nasira, was present with Rohail at the time of the murders. But later, after the discovery of dead bodies, she immediately rushed to the police station to become complainant. When police grilled Rohial, he admitted his involvement in the murder.  The police registered the case on behalf of Nauman’s brother. The police said that the dispute escalated when Kamran demanded repayment, prompting Rohail to murder him and his two sons. 

Police further revealed that the suspect took the victims’ mobile phones and DVRs while fleeing the scene. According to Investigation Incharge  Zahid Saleem, the victims were originally residents of Sargodha and had moved to the Kahna area in 2021.Nauman was a retired government employee, while his elder son Kamran was serving in the Labour Department. Police said further investigation is in progress, and action will be taken strictly in accordance with the law.
