Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, has said improving Hajj and Umrah arrangements remains top priority of the government.He was talking to High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Pakistan, Iqbal Hussain Khan, who called on him in Islamabad today.

The Minister said Pakistan ranks second in the world in terms of the number of Hajj pilgrims, and is ready to share its experience in Hajj management with Bangladesh.  He emphasized that mutual cooperation between the two countries can further facilitate pilgrims.

During the meeting, both the sides held detailed discussions on Hajj arrangements and matters of mutual interest. They also exchanged views on promoting bilateral relations and exploring avenues of religious cooperation. Secretary Religious Affairs Dr. Sajid Mahmood Chauhan and Joint Secretary Ahmed Nadeem Khan were also present on the occasion.
