Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON, Engr Amir Muqam, on Saturday said that the announcement of a reduction in petroleum product prices is not only commendable but would also have a positive impact on the economy.In his statement issued here, Muqam described the significant reduction in petroleum prices announced by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as an important step toward providing relief to the public.

The Minister further emphasized that the government has ensured that the benefit of declining oil prices in the global market is directly passed on to the people.Muqam remarked that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the federal government has once again demonstrated its commitment to taking serious measures to alleviate the burden of inflation on the public.
