A teenaged boy committed suicide by hanging himself to a ceiling fan due to a domestic dispute in Shahdara near Lahore. The deceased was identified as Usama who was 17-year-old. Soon after receiving the report of the incident local police reached the area and took the body of the dead man into their shifted. Police also collected all the available evidences from the crime scene.

Police sources further said that actual cause for committing suicide will be determined after post-mortem of the dead body. Further investigation was underway. Earlier on February 14, 2025, a girl has committed suicide by jumping from the seventh floor of B-2 Apartments of Askari-XI near Heer area in Lahore. According to police, the girl named Sumayya died on the spot.

The deceased girl was a resident of Mehr Town located on Bedian Road. In January 2025, a young man namely Azeem committed suicide by consuming poisonous pills in Sabzazar area of Lahore Soon after receiving the report of the incident, a police team reached the spot and shifted the young man to Jinnah Hospital in critical condition but he died later. The police said that the young man was 30 years old.
