No cut on employees’ salariesBreaking

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's caretaker finance minister Ahmed Rasool Bangash has confirmed that the province is facing financial difficulties but has denied reports of cuts to government employee salaries. According to media reports, Bangash said that the federal government owes Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 233 billion rupees from the last financial year, and that the caretaker prime minister has assured the province that this debt will be paid. He also said that no deductions are being made from government employee salaries, and that this matter was only discussed informally. The caretaker cabinet has approved a budget of 529 billion rupees for the four months from October 2023 to February 2024.
