In Shahdara, police raided the residence of Engineer Yasir Gilani and his cousin’s pharmacy. Additionally, police targeted the home of PTI leader Hamad Awan, detaining his brother and cousin. A raid was also conducted at the home of PTI Lahore President  Sheikh Imtiaz, but he was not present at the time. Police authorities have instructed all SHOs to apprehend remaining suspects involved in the May 9 incidents.

All divisional SPs have been tasked with overseeing the crackdown, and security plans for the upcoming rally have been finalized. According to police officials, a final security plan will be established once the rally location is confirmed. Upon receiving permission from the district administration, security personnel will be assigned, and surveillance cameras will be set up at the rally's entry points. Security officers stationed at these entrances will be equipped with photos and data of the suspects wanted from May 9.
