Lahore police have arrested more than 90 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers and registered cases against them. According to report, cases were registered against PTI workers under different legal provisions including police encounters. Moreover, cases have been registered against PTI workers in Harbanspura, Mazang, Islampura, Lorry Adda, Qala Gujjar Singh, Shafiqabad, Johar Town, Green Town, Manawan and Defence C police stations.
The arrested accused include Rana Zameer Jhaido, Rana Ehsan, Hafiz Zeeshan, Irfan, Hazrat Gul, Naeem Badshah, Ansar, Imdad, Salman, Faiz, Arshad, Usman, Sharafat, Sunil, Waqas, Shabbir, Usman, Israr, Waqar, Fayyaz, Hamza and others. According to text of FIR, PTI workers pelted stones at a police party near Lorry Adda and they tore the uniforms of the officials. Police officials said cases are also being registered against other arrested accused and raids are being carried out to arrest other accused with the help of mobile videos and CCTV.
