Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday said that police personnel are bound to redressal of poor man’s grievances and they should adopt a positive behaviour while dealing with general public. Mohsin expressed these views while addressing the passing-out parade of Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASIs) at National Police Academy in Islamabad. The interior minister vowed to change National Police Academy as per the standard of Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul.
On this occasion Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced a grant of Rs500 million for the National Police Academy. Mohsin Naqvi said it is the responsibility of the police to serve the people and treat them with dignity. He emphasized the importance of the police addressing the problems of the public. The Interior Minister also expressed his commitment to transforming the National Police Academy into a world-class institution, equipped with the latest facilities. He mentioned that a task force has also been established for this purpose.
