Provincial Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Syed Fakhar Jehan Wazir  visited the under-construction Sports Complex and Youth Center in Swarai, Buner, and expressed satisfaction over the rapid pace of work, stating that both projects are nearing completion and will provide world-class sports and training facilities to the youth of the district.During his detailed inspection, the minister reviewed the indoor gymnasium, swimming pool, pavilion, cricket academy, playing grounds and other components of the sports complex.

He issued strict instructions to the contractors and concerned officers that no compromise would be made on construction quality. “These projects are an investment in the future of Buner’s youth. Quality must remain the top priority at every stage,” Syed Fakhar Jehan said, adding that the PTI-led provincial government is delivering on its youth-friendly policies by establishing modern sports infrastructure even in remote areas like Buner. 

The minister highlighted that the youth of Buner possess extraordinary sporting talent and, with the availability of national-standard facilities at their doorstep, they will be able to polish their skills and earn laurels for the province and the country in national and international competitions. 

Speaking about the adjacent Youth Center, he said the facility will serve as a one-window hub offering skills development programs, vocational training, career counseling, and other essential services under a single roof, keeping the younger generation engaged in positive and constructive activities. Syed Fakhar Jehan announced that more development schemes will be launched in Buner in line with public needs to resolve long-standing issues and provide basic amenities to the people.

 Reaffirming his commitment to the constituency, the minister said, “I am a servant of the people of Buner. As their elected representative, I will remain among them at every step and leave no stone unturned to address their problems.” The twin projects, being executed with the special efforts of Minister Syed Fakhar Jehan, are expected to be completed soon and will mark a new era of sports and youth development in District Buner.
