The formation of the new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet is nearing completion, with a list of potential members reportedly being prepared. According to sources, the list includes over 15 names, some of whom previously held positions in the provincial government. Among the potential candidates, Mushtaq Ghani brings experience as the former Minister for Information and Public Relations in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. Khaleequr Rehman, with a background as the former Minister for Local Government, Elections, and Rural Development, offers valuable expertise. Aqibullah and Pakhtun Yar's were in prior government. Arshad Ayub and Meena Khan are potential newcomers to the cabinet, with their specific areas of expertise yet to be disclosed.

Taj Mohammad Tarand and Shakeel Khan bring experience, having served in various capacities such as Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Revenue and Estate, and Minister for Revenue and Estate, respectively. Fazal Shakur Khan's experience lies in his past role as Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs. It is important to note that these are just potential candidates, and the final list will be subject to approval by PTI Chairman Imran Khan. The newly elected Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, has confirmed that he will meet with Khan on Monday to discuss the cabinet formation. The news of potential cabinet members has sparked public interest and speculation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. While the official list and final decisions remain with Khan, the emerging names provide a glimpse into the possible composition of the new provincial government.
