A polio vaccination campaign has been initiated across the district with enhanced security arrangements to protect vaccination teams and health workers.The police personnel have been deployed with polio teams at key locations, while the district has been divided into three divisions under the supervision of senior police officers to ensure security throughout the campaign.

Sub-divisional police officers (SDPOs) will monitor security arrangements in their respective circles, while station house officers (SHOs) will keep a close watch on the movements and security of polio teams in their areas.

Checkpoints have been established at the district’s entry and exit points, while the deployment of police commandos, mobile patrols and rider squads has been increased.Security has also been strengthened at important locations and public places to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the campaign.
