Pakistan will continue actively participating in the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) to promote bilateral cooperation in the business sector, said Ghulam Qadir, Commercial Counsellor of Pakistani Embassy.
According to China Economic Net (CEN), Pakistan will participate in different forums, while Pakistan leading enterprises in China are taking part in CIFTIS, as the international forum on development and investment of modern supply chain of food would help Pakistan learn more about China’s progress in the field of agriculture and supply chain.
Pakistani Ambassador Moin ul Haque, and Commercial Counsellor, Ghulam Qadir will participate in the opening ceremony scheduled to be held on August 31, while they will also attend different forums of CIFTIS and sidelines meetings with Chinese officials and enterprises.
The major enterprises from Pakistan will be displaying Onyx handicrafts, marble products, carpets and handmade wooden antiques while the Ambassador, Commercial Counsellor and other officials will visit Pakistan's pavilion where Pakistani enterprises will set up their stalls.
Kamil Muhammad, CEO of Pak Link enterprises told China Economic Net that they would display marble and wooden handicrafts at CIFTIS and his expectations are very high this year.
"Our onyx products are very famous not only in China but all over the world.
We have the largest collection and variety of Rosewood that is famous around the globe, therefore we expected that we could get good buyers this year," he added.
