Pakistan’s services exports remained above the $900 million mark in April 2026, supported largely by demand from the United States, Gulf countries, China and several European markets, according to the latest data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
SBP data showed Pakistan’s total services exports stood at $914.98 million in April 2026, compared with $912.21 million in March and $800.21 million in February, indicating relative stability in external services earnings in recent months.
The United States remained Pakistan’s largest single market for services exports in April, with receipts totalling $359.01 million. Although slightly below the $381.62 million recorded in March, the US continued to account for the largest share of Pakistan’s overall services earnings.
Among Gulf markets, Dubai remained a major contributor, with services exports increasing to $91.41 million in April from $82.90 million in March.
Saudi Arabia accounted for $58.12 million in services exports, while Qatar contributed $8.58 million. Exports to Abu Dhabi stood at $14.84 million, Bahrain at $7.88 million, Oman at $2.78 million and Kuwait at $0.92 million during the month.
The United Kingdom also remained one of Pakistan’s important services export destinations, with exports increasing to $68.91 million in April from $67.02 million a month earlier.
In East Asia, China continued to strengthen its position as an important market for Pakistan’s services exports. Services exports to China stood at $36.27 million in April, compared with $38.31 million in March and $13.46 million in February, reflecting an overall upward trend over recent months despite monthly fluctuations.
Among other Asian economies, exports to Japan stood at $5.20 million, while South Korea accounted for $4.05 million. Pakistan’s services exports to Malaysia were recorded at $3.18 million, while exports to Thailand reached $5.01 million during April.
European markets also continued contributing to Pakistan’s services earnings. Exports to Ireland stood at $25.28 million, while France accounted for $6.96 million and Germany for $12.43 million during the month.
Services exports to the Netherlands reached $4.66 million, while exports to Italy stood at $2.37 million. Turkey also remained a notable market, with services exports recorded at $4.25 million in April.
In North America, beyond the United States, Canada contributed $19.65 million to Pakistan’s services exports during April, while Australia accounted for $6.63 million.
SBP data further showed services exports categorised under “Others N.E.S.” rising to $8.18 million in April from $7.35 million in March.
The latest figures suggest Pakistan’s services exports remained resilient during April despite variations across individual markets, with North America, the Gulf region, China and Europe continuing to serve as major destinations supporting the country’s external services earnings.
