Power thieves on Monday attacked a team of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO).According to the spokesman for the HESCO, the company’s team, accompanied by the contingents of Sindh Rangers and police, was doing its work in Badin Chali area of sub-division Hali Road when power pilferers attacked it and even resorted to firing.

The Rangers’ and the police personnel fired in the air to disperse the violent mob.Later, several power thieves were also taken into custody. The spokesman informed that the HESCO team had come under attack at the same place in the past as well.
