Police on Friday arrested the main suspect allegedly involved in the murder of a woman in Daira Din Panah,a suburban town of Kot Addu, within four hours of the incident.According to police,the suspect,identified as Latif Pora,allegedly killed the woman at an isolated garden in the town and fled the scene. Police said modern technology was used to trace the suspect and make a breakthrough in the murder case.

SHO Daira Din Panah Police Station Irfan Faiz,along with a police team,took prompt action on the directions of DPO Kot Addu,Mansoor Qamar and arrested the suspect within four hours. According to police,the suspect allegedly committed the murder after the woman refused to marry him.Police also recovered a 30-bore pistol,allegedly used in the crime,from the suspect’s possession on his identification. Meanwhile,the Crime Scene Unit and forensic team collected important evidence from the crime scene to assist in the investigation.
