The District Coordination Committee (DCC) on Friday decided to launch a crackdown against illegal petrol pumps and LPG stations across the district. According to a police handout,the meeting was attended by District Police Officer (DPO) Capt (retd) Dost Muhammad, Deputy Commissioner Saba Asghar Ali and Brig Asim Aziz Kiani.

The participants agreed that strict action would be taken against unauthorized fuel outlets,which pose serious risks to public safety. The meeting also resolved to take joint and effective measures to curb drug activities in the district. Officials stressed the need for a strong,round the clock monitoring mechanism and reaffirmed a zero-tolerance policy against those endangering human lives.
