A woman was brutally tortured and strangled to death by her father and brother for honour here on Monday, police said. According to details, the incident took place in village 457/EB of Burewala where a woman entered in marriage of choice against desires of family. The woman was brought back to home through panchayat. Father and brother brutally tortured the woman for her decision of marriage of choice and later strangled her to death. The culprits escaped the scene after committing the murder. The body with torture marks on face and body were shifted to hospital for postmortem. The police registered a case into the incident and started raids to arrest the culprits.
