Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Adviser Barrister Saif said on Wednesday the visually-challenged people protesting in Punjab had laid bare lofty claims of prosperity made by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. Saif said in a statement that the hapless people were being beaten on the streets of Lahore. He condemned the violent treatment meted out to the visually-impaired people who had gathered for fulfillment of their demands. He criticised the Punjab chief minister for making police beat the persons with special needs, adding that even dictatorial regimes didn’t do anything against them. He slammed the Punjab government for making false claims about progress in Punjab.
