Police seized a large quantity of narcotics during separate operations at checkpoints in the area of Khyber. According to police officials, a major haul of 6 kg of ice was recovered from a motorcycle at the police blockade on Jamrud Bypass Road in Khyber. Two suspects were apprehended in connection with this seizure. In a separate incident, authorities arrested an individual after discovering 40 kg of hashish in a car during a police checkpoint at Bara Bazar. The suspect, along with the confiscated drugs, has been transferred to the respective police stations in Jamrud and Bara for further interrogation. The operations highlight the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to curb the trafficking of illegal substances in the region.
