Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage and Culture Attaullah Tarar has expressed his sadness and deep grief over the demise of former Director Current Affairs Pakistan Television (PTV) Athar Waqar Azeem. The minister in a condolence message on Sunday extending his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family said, he was deeply saddened to hear the news of Athar Waqar Azeem’s death. Attaullah Tarar said that services of Athar Waqar Azeem for Pakistan Television will always be remembered. He said that Athar Waqar Azim’s professional career spanning fifty years was a beacon of light future generations and the vacuum created due to his death will never be filled. The information minister prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
