A suspect was arrested from site of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally in Sangjani on Sunday. The suspect was taken into custody over doubtful activities and shifted to undisclosed location. Earlier during search operation, a bag carrying catastrophic material including hand grenade, detonators and explosives was also recovered. The explosives and hand grenade was defused by bomb disposal squad (BDS) of Islamabad Police. The police cordoned off the area after the recovery of catastrophic material and arrest of suspect besides issuing high alert in the city.
