Students from Rawalpindi and Islamabad rallied outside the Federal Board of Education, accusing the board of mishandling intermediate exam results. They alleged that the board lost exam papers and failed to address repeated requests for re-evaluation, instead suggesting a retake of exams. The students claimed that 38,000 students failed due to the board's administrative failures, despite performing well on their exams. They called for the immediate closure of the Federal Board and demanded accountability for those responsible. Federal Board employees, however, suggested that the administration is shifting blame to junior staff to cover up its own shortcomings. A significant police presence was deployed to manage the situation during the protest.
