Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that ensuring the provision of basic facilities to the people is the government's top priority. Addressing a ceremony in Narowal, he emphasized that continuity of policies is essential for the sustainable development of Pakistan. He said that a strong economy is a key to the prosperity of the people.

He further said the role of youth in the country's development is important and highly educated individuals can contribute to building a strong and progressive society.Ahsan Iqbal reiterated the government's commitment to eradicating poverty by focusing on educating children. He also stressed the need to transform Pakistan into a nation with a robust economy by establishing industrial zones that will create employment opportunities.
