Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Irfan Siddiqui has claimed that they will introduce the constitutional amendments again in October. In an interview on Sunday, he said that every protest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was violent despite there were no obstacles in front of the democratic protestors, but one can see the PTI’s track record. Senator Irfan Siddiqui said that on May 25, 2022, the PTI had burnt several trees in D Chowk. He said that national leaders were killed, exiled, but there was never a protest like May 9. It was immoral at the highest level, he added. The PML-N leader said that PTI just held a rally in Lahore and there was no obstacle, he was not directing to end the rallies, but things are done according to the law. Talking about constitutional amendments, Senator Irfan Siddiqui said that constitutional amendments will be brought again in the first or second week of October and Nawaz Sharif will also go to America at the beginning of October. According to the current law, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah will be the next Chief Justice.
