The Special Communications Organization (SCO) has inaugurated a new Software Technology Park and Freelance Hub in Kotli, Azad Kashmir, aimed at boosting technological development and creating job opportunities for local youth. The inauguration was led by DGSCO Major General Umar Ahmad Shah, with civil and military officials, along with a large number of students and young professionals, in attendance. The Kotli facility is part of SCO’s broader initiative to establish over 40 state-of-the-art, cost-effective software technology parks across Azad Kashmir. These technology parks, equipped with the latest telecommunication infrastructure, will serve as a hub for innovation and skill development in remote and underserved areas of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, reflecting the Pakistan Army's commitment to youth empowerment in the region.
