Islamabad police in a major crackdown on criminal elements, have recovered stolen property worth more than Rs 1.4 billion. According to the police spokesperson, effective operations are ongoing against criminal networks in the federal capital. In the past eight months, police apprehended 3,163 suspects involved in property crimes, alongside 1,175 members of 496 gangs involved in serious offenses such as robbery, theft, and vehicle snatching. During these operations, authorities recovered cash, gold jewelry, stolen goods, mobile phones, 326 cars, and 584 motorcycles from the possession of the arrested criminals. The Islamabad police's efforts continue to curb criminal activities in the city.
