A rival group looted, set fire to, and demolished the house of an overseas Pakistani with a crane over suspicions of involvement in a murder case consultation in Hafizabad. The incident took place in Asadullahpur, where the assailants targeted a one-kanal house, reducing it to ashes. According to the FIR filed by the complainant, her husband, who has been residing in Spain for a long time, was falsely accused of being involved in the consultation of a murder case. Wife of the owner of the house who was at home said the suspects looted 20 tolas of gold and one million rupees before setting the house on fire and demolishing it with a crane. She said the suspects fled the scene, leaving the house in complete ruins. Hafizabad police have registered the case and launched a search for the suspects.
