Residents of a locality in Gojra, Toba Tek Singh held an Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) team hostage, police said on Monday. Assistant Director Salman Handal, along with 12 ANF employees, had raided Ghulam Muhammad’s house. However, the area residents locked the entire team in one of the rooms of the house. Later they blocked a road near Adda Musalmanian to protest what they called frequent raids on their homes by the ANF teams. Soon after the incident, a heavy police contingent also reached the area.
