Rawalpindi police have carried out successful operations following arrest of six suspects belonging to three different gangs involved in robbery, motorcycle theft and other street crimes and recovered stolen goods. Police also recovered weapons from their possession used in the crime.
According to police spokesperson, Waris Khan police arrested a two-member gang and recovered seven stolen motorcycles from their possession. Similarly, Morgah police apprehended a two-member gang involved in motorcycle theft and recovered four stolen motorcycles, two mobile phones and cash amounting to Rs5,000.
In another operation, Banni police arrested a two-member gang and recovered two stolen motorcycles, a snatched mobile phone, Rs6,000 in cash and weapons from the suspects. Police said the arrested individuals will be challaned to court with solid evidence. Those who deprive citizens of their valuable assets will not escape the law, the spokesperson added
