Heavy rain in the provincial capital Lahore on Saturday night lowered the temperature turning the weather pleasant. Meteorological Department said on Sunday that the wind was blowing at a speed of 11 kilometers per hour in Lahore, while the temperature of the city was likely to go up to 33 degrees Celsius. It should be mentioned here that followed by wind, rain lashed different areas of Lahore the other night. Meanwhile, rain also lowered the temperature in other cities of Punjab including Phalia, Kamonki, Wazirabad, Sharqpur Sharif, Muridke and surrounding turning the weather pleasant.
