The QAU Stars Panel has urged Quaid-i-Azam University’s (QAU) Vice Chancellor to formally request the State Bank of Pakistan for details on all accounts related to the outgoing QAU Alumni Association. This move comes ahead of a comprehensive audit and the upcoming alumni elections. During an meeting on Thursday chaired by Prof. Saeed Ch, the QAU Stars Panel, along with other election-contesting candidates of the panel, reviewed the minutes resolved in previous meetings between the QAU administration and the four major panels: Founder Panel, United Panel, QAU Forever Panel, and QAU Stars Panel.

The QAU All Stars Panel meeting strongly supported the call for an audit of the Alumni Association, which has been approved by the university administration and will be conducted by a certified third-party firm. The meeting also addressed crucial issues such as digitalizing alumni records dating back to 1970 and ensuring transparency in the upcoming elections. QAU All Stars Panel also endorsed QAU Admin on deciding that the outgoing Alumni Association would be barred from conducting any activities or fundraising campaigns during this transition period, and no group would be allowed to use the official QAU logo.
