Following protests in Rawalpindi yesterday, police have registered cases against PTI leaders and workers in three different police stations. According to the channel report, the cases were lodged after a protest held by PTI the previous day, with the charges including violations under anti-terrorism laws. Among those named in the FIRs are prominent PTI figures such as Samabiya Tahir, MPA Asad Abbas, Ijaz Khan, and Aamir Mughal, along with over 100 others. According to the police, the protesters engaged in anti-government chants, attacked law enforcement officers with stones, and used iron rods during the confrontation. The police are investigating the matter, and further legal action is expected against those involved in the unrest.
