Progress on BISP Skill Training Program discussed in meeting with PSDFBreaking

Progress on Skill Training Program of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) came under discussion during an important meeting with Punjab Skill Development Fund (PSDF) held at BISP Headquarters on Monday. Chairperson BISP Senator Rubina Khalid, Secretary BISP Amer Ali Ahmad and CEO of PSDF Ahmed Khan attended the meeting. Progress of the Skill Training Program aimed to provide skill development opportunities to BISP beneficiaries and their family members across various trades remained key focus of the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Senator Rubina Khalid emphasized the importance of offering top-quality training courses which are recognized at global level.

Such training could help beneficiaries find jobs abroad, improving their economic situation and allowing them to contribute to the country’s economy, she pointed out. The BISP Chairperson also mentioned the increasing need for skilled workers in areas like hospitality management, home care, and receptionist roles. She stressed that trainees should learn basic work ethics and hygiene practices. CEO PSDF Ahmad Khan assured of full in providing assistance for the skill training of BISP beneficiaries and their family members. He reiterated PSDF’s commitment to ensuring the success of this program.
