Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presiding over a high-level meeting for consultation over the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.The meeting being attended by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar and the prime minister Adviser on political affairs Rana Sanaullah, sources said.According to sources, the huddle will consult over the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Federal law minister Azam Nazir Tarar will give a briefing on legal affairs as the session expected to mull over the constitutional options over the situation in KP.
To tackle the situation in the province various legal measures will be considered in the meeting, sources said.The constitutional and legal matters of the KP situation has been a key agenda of the session chaired by the prime minister, sources added. It is to be mentioned here that President Asif Ali Zardari has reached Islamabad from Karachi.A session has also been scheduled in the Presidency over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to be chaired by President Zardari, according to sources. A visit of the prime minister with the president is also likely, sources added.
