On the directives of Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, Senator Captain (Retited) Shaheen Khalid Butt, and Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Sindh, Abdul Hafeez Mahesar, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Sukkur and a social organization NOWPDP jointly organized an event for the welfare of special persons. The event was held at the Special Education School located in the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Complex in Sukkur on Sunday.  Commissioner Sukkur, Abid Saleem Qureshi, participated as the chief guest.

On this occasion, Regional Director DEPD Abdul Qudoos Memon, Assistant Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Sukkur Shabbir Ahmed Memon, Manager of NOWPDP Ashraf Pathan, and Khalid Rind were also present.  During the event, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal provided financial assistance of Rs. 1,000,000 to 30 special persons (men and women) in the form of cheques of Rs. 30,000 each. Additionally, with the collaboration of NOWPDP, 20 disabled persons were provided with wheelchairs.

The chief guest, Commissioner Sukkur Abid Saleem Qureshi, distributed the cheques and wheelchairs among the beneficiaries.  Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Sukkur Abid Saleem Qureshi said that special persons are a part of our society, and it is the responsibility of the government and administrative institutions to provide them guidance, welfare, education, and employment facilities. The Commissioner expressed satisfaction over the welfare activities of the government institution and the social organization.
