In an incident rarely heard of, an oil tanker rammed into a mosque on the National Highway near Sabu Rahu in Nawabshah after the driver of the vehicle dozed off on Thursday. The driver too was seriously injured in the accident.  As per the administrators of the seminary, housed in the mosque, 70 to 80 students remained safe as they had left just five minutes before the incident. Soon after the incident, police and rescue teams reached the site of the incident and shifted the driver to a hospital.
