Negotiations of the committee constituted by the government with chief of Balochistan National Party (BNP) Sardar Akhtar Mengal ended in failure as he refused to withdraw resignation. The government’s committee held meeting with the BNP’s chief with an aim to convince him for resolving the issues through dialogues. However, Akhtar Mengal remained steadfast on his decision of quitting the member of National Assembly. The BNP chief was of the view that he repeatedly raised the issue of Balochistan’s exploitation during government of different political parties but the government was unable to understand the problem of the province. Mengal stated that we were bridge between state and Balochistan and can’t comprise on interests of the province and its people.
