What can be termed a unique way of preventing accidents on the Sukkur-Multan section of the motorway (M5), Motorway Police (MP) at Ghotki make drivers wash their faces at night so that they do not doze off. According to the MP, most of the accidents take place because the drivers fall asleep while driving.  Hence, in order to make the journey safer, the police ask them to wash their faces.
