A 5.4 magnitude earthquake jolted Islamabad and different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Thursday morning. The National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) confirmed that tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Swat, Malakand, Mansehra, Swabi, Mardan, and adjoining areas. Earthquake tremors Thursday have been felt in Islamabad and other parts of the country including Peshawar, Swat, North Waziristan, Hangu, Mardan, Malakand, Buner, Shangla, Dir, Mansehra, Bitgram, Torghar and Kohistan. Meanwhile, Punjab cities Multan and Sargodha also jolted.
