The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to lessen the power expenditures of the registered seminaries of the province has decided to convert them all to solar energy. A statement issued by the Auqaf Department on Sunday stated that with the support of the Provincial Energy and Power Department, a survey was being launched with an aim to convert the seminaries to solar energy. It should be mentioned here that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had earlier announced to install free solar systems in more than 1000 seminaries.
