Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the planners and facilitators of May 9, can’t escape the punishment and will have to face the music. Speaking to a private news channel on Thursday, he clarified that besides facilitators and beneficiaries of May 9, the convicts of riots would also be awarded severe punishment. Khawaja Muhammad Asif stated that all main-power for May 9, mayhem was provided by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Responding to a question about issues faced by Balochistan, he said that some elements were causing main hindrance in the development of Balochistan region. The minister assured that all possible measures would be taken to put the province on the path of progress.
