The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has unequivocally declared that the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) will never bow before India’s oppressive regime and will persist in their just struggle for freedom until the territory is liberated from illegal occupation. According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued from Srinagar, stated that India’s relentless campaign of oppression and injustice in the occupied territory cannot extinguish the indomitable spirit of the Kashmiri people.
He expressed confidence that their unwavering struggle will culminate in the dawn of freedom and peace in Jammu and Kashmir. He condemned the Indian colonial regime’s use of brutal tactics and draconian laws to suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom movement. Despite these oppressive measures, the spokesman affirmed, the Kashmiri people remain steadfast in their quest for the right to self-determination. He hailed the Kashmiri youth who have sacrificed their lives in the fight against India’s illegal occupation, describing them as the true heroes of freedom struggle.
“Kashmiris hold their martyrs in the highest regard and are resolute in fulfilling their mission,” he added. Advocate Minhas highlighted that history is replete with instances where oppressive and tyrannical regimes ultimately faced defeat. “India, too, will one day be compelled to grant the Kashmiris their inalienable right to self-determination and withdraw from Jammu and Kashmir,” he asserted. The APHC called upon the international community to exert meaningful pressure on India to end its state-sponsored terrorism in the occupied territory and play an active role in resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with international law and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
