Strategies to address the Kashmir dispute were discussed at a symposium titled "Kashmir Struggles Under Siege" organized by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir chapter in Muzaffarabad. The event was attended by Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, Convener All Parties Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, government ministers and representatives of the Hurriyat Conference. The symposium aimed to raise awareness about the human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and to find a solution to the Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN resolutions. The speakers emphasized the need for a peaceful struggle for freedom and the importance of unity among the Kashmiri people.
They also appreciated Pakistan's support for the Kashmir cause and called for international intervention to stop Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir. The speakers highlighted the importance of diplomatic efforts to resolve the dispute and urged the international community to play a role in ending the suffering of the Kashmiri people. Furthermore, the symposium resolved to continue the struggle for self-determination and to seek justice for the victims of human rights abuses in Kashmir. The event concluded with a unanimous call for a peaceful and diplomatic solution to the Kashmir issue, in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and the relevant UN resolutions.
