The Federal Investigation Agency’s National Central Bureau (FIANCB) Interpol has arrested a suspect wanted in serious crimes upon his arrival at Karachi Airport from Amman. According to an FIA spokesperson, the accused, Usman Sikandar, was wanted by the Punjab Police in connection with an attempted murder case registered in 2022. He also faced charges in a separate case at Sadar Pasrur police station, Sialkot. Following the issuance of a red notice by Interpol, the accused was apprehended by FIA officials and handed over to Punjab Police authorities. The extradition was made possible through close coordination between Interpol Islamabad and FIA Immigration Karachi.
