The Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination has failed to execute Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's directives to revive sports teams across various departments, including football, hockey, volleyball, athletics, basketball, and cricket, even after two years. Despite the Prime Minister’s clear instructions, neither the ministry nor the Pakistan Sports Board has made any significant progress in implementing these orders. A conference, hastily organized under the leadership of Federal Secretary Nadeem Irshad Kayani in Islamabad, saw low attendance from key institutions responsible for promoting sports in the country. Originally scheduled at the Gun and Country Club, the venue was abruptly shifted to a local hotel at the last minute.
