A poverty-stricken man committed suicide over hefty by laying before the moving train here on Sunday. According to details, Muneer 38, hailing from Kayani street tehsil Kot Radha Kushan of Kasur was facing severe financial crisis and electricity bill of Rs10,500 further added to his problems. An exchange of hot words took place between the couple over issue of payment of hefty electricity bill after which Muneer along with his minor child went to Kot Radha Kushan railway station. He left the child near railway track and committed suicide by laying before Sialkot bound Allama Iqbal Express. The deceased was father of three children and his family was facing starvation due to poverty and hefty electricity bill further added to miseries forcing him to commit suicide. The body was shifted to hospital and later handed over to heirs after legal formalities.
