Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Adviser Barrister Saif said on Monday that federal ministers were crying at the top of their lungs after the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) call for protest at Islamabad's D-Chowk on Oct 15. Responding to Federal Ministers Khawaja Asif and Ahsan Iqbal’s criticism over the PTI’s protest, Saif said that peaceful protest was their constitutional right, adding that the government was afraid of the PTI's street power. He accused Asif of being elected on Form-47 while blaming Iqbal for politicising the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He lashed out at the government for economic meltdown of country while pointing out at the fascist tactics employed by the government to stifle dissidents of the PTI. Speaking about the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Islamabad, Saif said that the government wanted to take political mileage from the SCO, remarking that the government itself was responsible for the political and economic downturn of the country.
