The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has successfully apprehended a wanted fugitive involved in a fraud case from Saudi Arabia and shifted him to Islamabad. According to FIA spokesperson, the suspect, Muhammad Zubair, had been evading arrest for three years and was wanted by the Faisalabad police. A case was registered against him in 2022 at the Madina Town police station for fraud and deception. The FIA’s National Central Bureau (NCB) Interpol initiated a major operation, issuing a red notice for Zubair’s arrest. Following his capture, he was brought to Islamabad International Airport, where he was handed over to Faisalabad police. The timely extradition of Zubair was made possible due to close coordination between Interpol Islamabad and Interpol Riyadh. The NCB Interpol, equipped with advanced technology, maintains 24/7 communication worldwide, employing all available resources to ensure the apprehension of fugitives.
